The coronavirus situation in the US has escalated quickly in the past few days, leaving many people on edge. With most of us limited to confined spaces, and some of us isolated from our social circles, staying mentally healthy is more important than ever.
With nowhere to go, people are turning towards virtual therapy and stress management apps to calm their anxiety and channelize the surplus energy.
Meditation app HeadSpace is helping people relax by offering access to a wide range of programs from daily relaxation exercises to guided meditation modules.

Youper, an artificial intelligence (AI) “emotional health assistant” is allowing people to have textual conversations with a bot which provides feedback to monitor and improve mental health.

Ten Percent Happier is another app that is providing guided meditations for reducing stress and cultivating healthy habits. In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the app is offering an everyday, free live guided meditation session which will focus on finding peace during this time of uncertainty.
